Can I wear leather shoes during the rain?It's not preferable to wear leather shoes in the rain because prolonged exposure to water can stain, warp, and weaken the leather, shortening the life of the shoes and dulling their finish; if you must wear them, apply a water-resistant spray about 15 minutes before going outside to give the coating time to set and help repel moisture, then wipe off any surface water promptly and let the shoes dry naturally away from direct heat.
Can I order the same model but different colour? If you have a special outfit that calls for the perfect pair, we can sew a bespoke version just for you—choose any color from our palette and we'll craft the shoes to complement your look. This pair doesn't fit me. How can I return it? Returns are the responsibility of the customer, who will need to cover the cost of shipping the item back; please ensure the shoes are returned in their original condition and packaging. If covering return shipping is difficult, consider posting the pair on a local Ukrainian community group on social media—many of these groups welcome preloved items and can help the shoes find a new home quickly. I'm not familiar with European sizes. How do I know which size to buy? Place a blank sheet on a hard floor with one edge against a wall. Stand with your heel against the wall. Have someone mark the longest point of your foot (or lean forward and mark it yourself). Repeat for the other foot. Measure from the wall to each mark in inches or cm and use the brand’s size chart.
How do I know if it's a real leather?Smell the shoes to help determine whether the leather is real: genuine leather has a distinct, natural, slightly earthy or leathery aroma that can be warm and rich, whereas synthetic materials often smell of plastic, chemicals, or glue; to test, bring the shoe close to your nose and take a few gentle sniffs in a well-ventilated area, paying attention to any sharp, artificial, or solvent-like odors—if the scent is subtle, organic, and not overwhelmingly chemical, that’s a good sign the leather may be real, though smell should be used alongside visual inspection and touch for a more reliable assessment.
Cleaning leather and suede shoes requires gentle, targeted care—never put them in the washing machine, as that can ruin the materials and shape. For leather, use a special leather-cleaning liquid applied sparingly with a soft cloth, then condition with a leather conditioner to restore oils and prevent cracking; finish by buffing with a horsehair brush. For suede, use a rubber suede brush or eraser to lift dirt and revive the nap, and apply a suede-specific cleaner for stubborn stains; avoid saturating suede with liquids. Invest in dedicated products—a leather cleaner and conditioner, a horsehair brush for smooth leather, and a rubber brush or suede eraser for suede—to keep both types looking their best and extend their lifespan.
